PM Lifts Array of Lockdown Restrictions

The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has spoke in the House of Commons regarding the next stages of lockdown in the United Kingdom.  In summary from the 4th July:

  • Restaurants and pubs can reopen
  • Hotels, bed and breakfasts, campsites and caravan parks can reopen
  • Salons and barbers can reopen but with visors worn
  • Cinemas, museums, galleries, playgrounds, libraries, community centres, social clubs, theme parks, and other attractions can also reopen

Nighclubs, spas, indoor soft play areas, bowling alleys, water parks, indoor gyms, nail bars and swimming pools will not be able to reopen.

From the 4th July, the 2 metre social distance rule is being relaxed to 1 metre.
